Charlie Bags the October Yu-Gi-Oh Crown

Well Sunday 7th October saw our regular Yu-Gi-Oh tournament and what a day it was. Starting at a somewhat later time due to to problems with the trains we finally got underway at about 1:30 with our usual Judge Jason Roberts entering the event and Anton taking over in the hot seat for the organising role.
This time it was a little different as we have managed to get hold of the special tournament booster packs which hold random cards from all editions and one of these is given to each entrant. In addition the winner was to get a Tactical Evolution T-Shirt as well as the remainder of the entry money being split into standard boosters for the top 4.

The four semi-finalists were Charlie Bagnall, Joseph Dale, Daniel Whitly and Sam Whetton with friends Charlie and Sam dueling for first place. In the end Charlie came out a well deserved winner.
We have penned a short report for the Shrewsbury Chronicle and this should be in the paper on 18th October.

Where Are We?
The shop is located at 6 Castle Gates, SY1 2AE which is opposite the Railway Station and almost next door to the Bingo Hall
hi can you keep me a copy of that paper please as we don’t get that here in telford for some reason…thx
We will keep a copy of the paper in the store - in fact we are intending on having any tournament or league that we do of a reasonable size published so we could end up with quite a scrapbook
