Located in the heart of Shrewsbury, Games Cavern intends to form the focus for gaming around the town and surrounding area by providing a venue for not just buying games but playing them as well in our gaming area.
With activities from collectable card games, miniature wargames, traditional board games and role-playing games on offer, there’s something for everyone, young and old.
We hold regular events every week for local players but for the more committed gamer — or those who like a larger tournament — we also hold events at weekends.

Games Workshop is now in at 10% off the recommended price — that’s the one they charge in the Games Workshop stores — AND if we don’t have it on the shelves then we can order it in at pretty short notice.
That fact, combined with our advanced plans to hold 40K and Fantasy tournaments makes this possibly the biggest news since we opened.
But our primary aim is to have fun. Don’t just take our word for it — come along and see for yourself!
